News and Events

The  Wisconsin Writers Association has reviewed my middle-grade narrative nonfiction book Spies, Soldiers, Couriers, and Saboteurs: Women of the American Revolution.

Check out the review  at their website:  https://wiwrite.org/book-reviews/8582708.

Great News!

Great to hear that my book is being sold throughout the United States. The History Museum of Travelers Rest in South Carolina is stocking and selling my middle-grade book Spies, Soldiers, Couriers, and Saboteurs: Women of the American Revolution.

I am THRILLED they are doing this especially since several women featured in my book lived in South Carolina.

Past Events

It's always a pleasure to speak to different groups about my writing and my books.

School visits rank up there with some of my favorites since I get to interact with students and encourage them to be creative with their own writing.

I also have fun at libraries and to organizations to explain the research I conducted for Spies, Soldiers, Couriers, and Saboteurs: Women of the American Revolution. The journey of researching, writing, and publishing this book is one of which I am very proud.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to browse through some of my past events and drop me a line if you are interested in scheduling a presentation for your school, library, or organization. I'm sure we can work out something that will be fun and interesting!

Had planned on a school visit in April and would have met these students in person. Here they are posing with copies of my middle-grade book before school had been cancelled.

I was very happy to be part of a Zoom presentation with the class to tell them about researching these women. Loved answering students' questions and interacting with them and their teachers.

I hope to be able to meet them some time in the future.

Reading to groups
I always enjoy meeting new people and talking about writing. Whether I'm reading my books to students, discussing the writing process or my research, or simply greeting people browsing at a book fair, I am thrilled to be an author. I simply love sharing my work.
