Past Events
Such an honor to speak to different groups about my writing and my books.
School and library visits rank up there with some of my favorites since I get to interact with students and encourage them to be creative with their own writing. Reading my picture books to them always brings a smile to my face.
I also have fun at libraries and to organizations to explain the research I conducted for Spies, Soldiers, Couriers, and Saboteurs: Women of the American Revolution. The journey of researching, writing, and publishing this book is one of which I am very proud.
Take a few minutes to browse through some of my past events and drop me a line if you are interested in scheduling a presentation for your school, library, or organization. I'm sure we can work out something that will be fun and interesting!

2020 Events

Had planned on a school visit in April and would have met these students in person. Here they are posing with copies of my middle-grade book before school had been cancelled.
I was very happy to be part of a Zoom presentation with the class to tell them about researching these women. Loved answering students' questions and interacting with them and their teachers.
I hope to be able to meet them some time in the future.

Reading to groups
I always enjoy meeting new people and talking about writing. Whether I'm reading to students, discussing the writing process or my research, or simply greeting people browsing at a book fair, I'm thrilled to be an author. I simply love sharing my work.
