ABOUT ME
I have enjoyed writing since I was in fourth grade and a wonderful teacher encouraged me. I wrote many stories that I shared with my childhood friend who has continued to support my passion for writing.

American History has always fascinated me, so I am extremely excited about my newly released middle-grade book, Spies, Soldiers, Couriers, and Saboteurs: Women of the American Revolution. This book reveals the heroic acts of little-known women who helped our country gain its independence. Some women spied on the British, some fought in battles, but each woman risked her freedom and her life. I'm thrilled to share their stories.

My Halloween picture book, Three Little Ghosts, was published in 2017. A visit with my grandchildren and listening to their laughter and giggles inspired me to write about this holiday. The colorful illustrations enhance the story and bring a smile to the faces of young readers.

I am a member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators (https://www.scbwi.org), Wisconsin Writers Association (https://www.wiwrite.org), and local writing groups in Wisconsin and Arizona. My husband and I reside in Wisconsin but spend many happy months each year in Arizona.

No matter the location, I always find a way to read, read, and read some more!
